SOLITUDE

Have you ever felt the pang that occurs when you are going to take the first bite of your food sitting alone in a table in cafeteria or hotel while all other tables have more than one occupancy or while eating the food you cooked for yourself in your room (forget home , it doesn't qualify to be house too...) with the television or laptop on?

The most ill-fated habit a person can have is thinking about the meaning of His Life or the direction its heading when he is chewing his first bite of his food. It never get swallowed...

I have felt that many times when I was there at us.It made me feel like y v hav to survive like this just for the sake of money...
All our hard work is for food ,that food itself y shud have with this much cramp.I felt like it wud be better to have even day before left out rice with our dearest ones. And it will be very much painful to stay alone in an alien country very far away from our family.
In earlier days,to get detached themselves from their families ppl used to go to himalayas, now they are joining IT industry...
That too its horrific at onsite.

Thanks for expressing my feeling which I tried to explain and failed with a silence at heart.

Once again thanks for your last line in this post.

An idle mind is a devil's workshop. I think U get to think like this only when all your fundamental necessities are satisfied. Human mind is just a mean stupid differentiator. U can appreciate the so called companionship and all those only if you had come across this. There is a piece of this in everything.(Law of marginal returns in economics for instance). Even sometimes I thought what I really wanted, but it looks like I always want more "significance", either though work, or knowledge or entertainment or pleasure. Whatever crap it is you dont get "everything".Its something like the ensemble of a feel of goodness is a rectangle whose perimeter cant be changed. You just strech "it" to decrease the height. Some guys just try to optimize it by making it a square. Anyhow your blog is quite thought-provoking.

Anonymous,
Basic necessities is a relative term and its a "thoduvanam", u never hit. But I accept the fact, lack of tangible goal cud create these gibberish. I accept ur analogy but I doubt how good is a square? Life is a complex equation with variable parameters and everyone try to maximise it on certain parameter and "significant" are those who maximise on the parameter in which most try and get a better result.
